Our Approach to Payments
BlessingsOnly does not process payments or store financial transaction details. UPI transfers occur directly between guests and hosts. We do not collect bank account numbers, card data, UPI PINs, or payment authentication credentials.
1. Information We Collect
- Name — when you sign up or contribute
- Email — for authentication and communication
- Event details — titles, goals, dates, descriptions
- Messages — blessing messages from guests
- UPI ID — provided by hosts to receive contributions (displayed publicly on event pages)
- Contribution metadata — amount, contributor name, and message (as self-declared)
- Account acceptance — timestamp when you accepted our Terms and Privacy Policy
2. Information We Do Not Collect
- Bank account numbers
- Debit or credit card data
- UPI PIN or authentication credentials
- UPI transaction IDs (unless manually entered by users)
- Payment verification data
3. How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- Display contribution progress on event pages
- Improve user experience and platform functionality
- Send transactional and service-related emails
- Run platform analytics (aggregated, non-identifying)
- Comply with legal obligations
4. Data Storage
Your data is stored securely in our database, hosted on enterprise-grade infrastructure. Access is restricted to authorized personnel and systems necessary for platform operations.
5. Data Retention
Event and contribution data is retained while your account is active. Upon account deletion, we remove your personal data except where retention is required for legal compliance or legitimate business purposes.
